The era of zeppelins and dirigibles was a short but romantic one. These elegant vessels served military masters as well as provided years of cross ocean passenger travel. Few airships are as famous as the German zeppelin Hindenburg which mysteriously exploded and burned in 1937 in Lakehurst, New Jersey. The crash site is part of a military base and as such is very difficult for ordinary tourists to visit. These craft were unfortunately more famous for their accidents than their successes and are now gone from the skies for all but specialized industrial and commercial use. Note this is the type two edition, with correct Hindenburg spelling on the tail. Error version also available but existing stock will be shredded at some point. The New Jason Islands, or Islas Sebaldes as they are sometimes known, are generally accepted to be part of the Falkland Islands in the south Atlantic ocean. These teem with birds and are a privately held nature preserve. This is technically the second edition of notes for these islands, the first being an issue in pounds released in 1979 by businessman and erstwhile sheep farmer Len Hill and bearing his portrait.
