All 1996 series "Z" notes with the exception of A1 "Thin Z" were designed as replacement notes.
Thin "Z" series of 1996 A1 notes were an emergency printing.
100 Sets of 1996 specimen notes exist, distributed as commercial samples. No serial numbers, punch canceled.

Printing: British American Banknote Co., (Quebecor Financial Printing); four colour lithography on wove paper with numerous security features. Security features include a hologram, microprint, watermarked paper, scrambled indicia, and four colour printing.

  • A1 Series D - 9,999 Sold. Note is sold out.

  • A2 Series J- 5,400 Sold. Note is available for sale, see order form.
  • A2 Series L - 1,100 Sold. Note is available for sale, see order form

    There are no other 1999 series notes to be designed.

Various other prefixes have been released in small quantities as requests are made.
